For those of you that want to live in the "clouds" there is Google Sync. It offers the ability to have two-way sync for your contacts, calendars and emails. Currently it is in Beta stage but seemingly in Alpha stage instead. Nevertheless, it has been working continually better every week. I find it is very convenient to have all three elements pushed to your phone in under a minute.
Whether you are adding a contact or calendar appointment on your mobile device or via web - the changes are reflected almost immediately on both ends so you can fly out the door with everything you need in hand. It's sobering to know that almost everything on your device is immediately backed-up onto Gmail servers.
Follow the link below and enjoy. Click the drop-down arrow to select your mobile device for configuration instructions. Google Sync
Yikes, it's been several days since I've last blogged. I've been so busy with work and attended a wicked fun birthday party on Saturday. I haven't had a chance to collect my thoughts intelligibly to put into words...
However, there is definitely a thought I know I want to share. A friend of mine has been working extremely hard opening up her own line of clothing and just recently released prices for some of her clothing after doing diligent research. I'm extremely proud of her and I hope she's proud of herself for her accomplishments! In a way I'm a bit jealous because she's found her path and I've yet to find mine.
When once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been and there you will always long to return. — Leonardo da Vinci
I've noticed that lately I've been saturating myself with things to do. As a result, being busy is even more of my hallmark. Although, I really don't believe being busy is such a bad thing. It helps to alleviate negative thoughts, creates productivity and forces/reinforces time management skills. However, keeping busy isn't bulletproof because I've found that particular thoughts will still creep in and there's still not enough time in the day to do everything I've wanted to do.
Call me crazy but sometimes I wish I could freeze time and enjoy the simple things in life like when we were children. Laying on the grass and watch the clouds go by. Making a kite and watching it fly higher than you could ever imagine. Playing outside without worrying about work and paying bills. Swinging on the swing set until the street lights came on. It was a grand old time when decisions were made by going "eeny-meeny-miney-mo catch a tiger by the toe....".
I'm going to make my best effort to learn how to play this song on the piano.
I love this song because the female vocals is soft and soothing. The lyrics are above average because they're not too cheesy like others that I've listened to. Listen carefully to the steady and smooth beats with a good beat per minute (BPM).
I find that the melody is great but the electronic violins during the chorus is a little too powerful and subdues the emotions in the vocals. Too bad I can't find the original mix to compare. Moto Blanco mixes are usually reminiscent of the old school disco style. I really can't explain why I'm drawn to disco style music. Always have and always will. Enjoy...
Born lucky in unimaginable ways but also born reserved and shy. Treated like a king growing up but fighting back to be treated normally like others. Fighting to make a dream come true but seemingly against destiny's plan. Waiting all my life but now, it's my turn to make my move.
Just as the headline says, "& in my head". This is a place for me to express my random thoughts from time to time. It is my own space to release and let my thoughts speak for themselves.
Lately, I've come to enjoy writing. Hopefully this space will help me write better and more creatively.
Tidbits of myself that not many people know about can also be found here.
